Apple MacBook Pro Update: 3Gbps SATA transfers enabled
By: Marc Vincer | June 23, 2009
Why did it take Apple a flood of complaints before they sorted out the update for the MacBook Pro?
As you know Apple have recently bought out a new update for all the new MacBook Pros, but the only problem is Apple had to complicate things by making all of the new Macs before the update.
What Apple should of done, is make the MacBook Pros after the update and just release the new MacBook with the new update already up and running rather then getting all the consumers to start download different software before they can install the update and I’m sure you will agree with that.
Luckily enough for the consumers the update isn’t a huge one as it is only 3.35MB and only requires OS X 10.5.7 to be installed. Apple have reported that a small number of the June 2009 MacBook Pro users have caused a small issue because they are using the SATA 3Gbps specification and will find it harder to run the new update but Apple have made it so we can either install the new update or just leave the software as it is.
