Apple iPhone 3G S missing out on Flash Player 10 beta

It has been announced on intomobile that Adobe expect their Flash player 10 beta software to be released in October this year, the Flash Player 10 beta is expected to bring smartphones one step closer to a full mobile web experience.

The only major phone that doesn’t seem to be adopting the Flash Player 10 software is Apple’s iPhone, they are expecting the HTML 5 standard will in-time become the market leader over Adobe Flash’s current 95% market share. We covered back in May that a developer had created an Adobe Flashplayer plugin, it seems no progress been made in this plugin.

Adobe has already sent out early versions of the release and expect beta versions to be released in October, it is expected that Google’s Android, Nokia’s Symbian OS, and Windows Mobile will be among the first devices to support the new flash player, this means whilst the iPhone will be waiting for HTML 5 standard to become a industry standard other smartphones will be experience a fuller mobile web experience, will Apple regret this decision?
