T-Mobile USA: my Touch 3G announced today

We reported that T-Mobile USA were to make an announcement this week, well we can now tell you that the network carrier is to launch its second Google Android phone, the myTouch 3G. The phone will be ready for pre-order on July 8 and will be released later in July.
According to Computer World, This new touchscreen device is to cost $200 on a two-year contract, and as you can see, is a lot like the HTC Magic. The National retail availability of the my Touch 3G will be some time in August. The phone comes with a nicely sized 3.2-in. touch-screen display and virtual keyboard, this can be used in both portrait and landscape mode.
The camera is not the best on the market, at just 3.2-megapixel, and like the iPhone 3G S camera offers video capabilities and MMS support. The new handset is all about personalization, as users will be able to customize icons, menus and wallpapers.

Tmo is the best …as long as I can call and get calls am gud don’t need all this stuff on a phone…just a few years back we didn’t have it and we were find…what is the big hype about?
Finally, a phone that I’m excited about. T-Mobile is finally trying to catch up with their phones and network. I currently have the first generation Shadow and was disappointed that shortly after I purchased it, they came out with the Shadow II. Grrr! But this phone looks fantastic. I am excited and can’t wait for the reviews to come out by users. By that time, the 2nd generation MyTouch will have the kinks worked out and I will be ready to UPGRADE! Yay!
it seems that united states tmobile not interested to release htc hero which also well known as tmobile g2 touch, is it right?
I have been with T-mobile since Voicestream and the service is great and for all the haters from at&t with their crappy Iphone that that you can’t get a cheaper and better plan than Tmobile and yes I had At&t with work and can’t tell you how many times I dropped calls or couldn’t get service. So Yes I can’t wait for the MY Touch and I’m sure it will blow the Iphone away and the followers who can’t think formselves who get that piece of junk, I hated that phone and all that apple products for they are all crap and overpriced just like at&t!!!
I have the g1 and like it but I haven’t seen why the My Touch is a better phone other than the look of it with the differnt skins and not having a keyboard with the same small screen seem like a bad idea
I was with ATT then switched to Tmobile, and this will be my 7th year with them. Im sooo excited they come up with a phone that would shut iphone users up.
My sister switched to ATT for the iphone and very much regretted it.. I did not, since I like Tmobile (coverage and great customer service). I was really tempted to but when I heard about the iphone flaws, i just hanged on to my blackberry and hoping Tmobile will eventually have a better smartphone which of course,
now they finally have. :)) I cant wait for my new phone to arrive.
Not a iphone!!!!! Cheap materials don’t even come close to the iphone 3gs.
i preordered mytouch and can’t wait to get it. I wasnt really excited about the g1 because of how bulky it looked so soon after that one came out i got the behold which is a nice phone but ready for a change. and yes the mytouch is the g2 just updated, sleeker, and more fun. Ive been with tmobile for 6yrs already and its alot cheaper than my 800$ bills i would get from verizon. TMOBILE IS THE BEST AND EVERYONE I KNOW HAS THERE CELL PHONE SERVICE
I have the G1 now and preorderd the mytouch. My main reason for Android is the open source platform. I’m all about options and having tons of developers write codes to make my experience better. Android now has way more applications than the iphone and there are no proprietary issues to worry about like with apple.
P.S. Mytouch has a bigger screen than the G1 hence the touch keyboard should not be an issue.
