New iPhone 3G S and high-frequency hearing test
By: Peter Chubb | June 22, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere is no denying how great the new Apple iPhone 3G S is, which is made even better with the new iPhone 3.0 OS. However, IntoMobile explains that there is a new feature that should not be there, and that is with an integrated high-frequency hearing test.
IntoMobile has said that the new iPhone 3G S has been testing our ears each time that a sound file is played. According to BGR this sound can be heard while unlocking your iPhone or when you get a sound that you have received an SMS, the sound is in the 15KHz range.
If you would like to hear this sound, just go to a quiet room and turn the phone off, or unlock the iPhone. If you hear a 15kHz tone buzzing, then your iPhone 3G S is affected with the bug. We are certain that Apple is working on a patch to fix this problem. It seems that the problems are still continuing with the new iPhone 3.0 OS.
