Google Voice release news and more numbers added
Filed under: Cell Phones, Phone Software

There is not long to wait until the release of Google Voice, and Gizmodo has some news that is of interest to those who wants to know all about the world of mobile communication. It seems that one million more numbers have been reserved with Voice’s service provider.
There have been a number of rumors as to when Google Voice will be released, but this report from Gizmodo shows just how popular it could become with cell phone users, also how unpopular it could become with service providers.
All the signs point to a release this week, and it was assumed that it could have been released yesterday, but it is still only open to GrandCentral users. Their accounts have now been moved over to Google Voice, but they are still not able to access it yet.
Google Voice will be enjoyed on handsets such as RIM BlackBerry’s and the Apple iPhone

As as GC’er we do have access to GV now. I’ve been using the full features for about a week now.
Been waiting forever for this. Quite a few browser refreshes on the page today and no invite in e-mail.
