We have learned from Phones Review that Sprint have confirmed that the BlackBerry Tour 9630 is to be released later this summer with a price of $199.99 on a two-year contract, and that is with a $100 mail-in-rebate.
According to Gadget Review, the new BlackBerry Tour 9630 is to should coincide with U2’s tour “Get It” and comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera. The handset is not all about taking photos though; the Tour is more for the business user, which we explain more in our earlier post where we see what is the better handset, the Nokia E72 or the RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630.
It is not just Sprint who will be getting the BlackBerry Tour 9630; Verizon is to also get the new phone. The carrier has already launched a teaser page, which you can see here. We are still waiting for them to announce an official release date and price. However, we have reported that this could be sometime in August.

The title says “release date annouced” but your article says “later this summer”… shoddy journalism or typo?
Technically “Summer” is not a release date.
