2010: New iPhone 4G S, could it happen?
By: Peter Chubb | June 19, 2009 | 30 CommentsJust over a month ago all the rumors started of a new Apple iPhone, which we all assumed was going to be the new 4G model, this however did not turn out to be the case. The new handset that was announced at WWDC 2009 was the iPhone 3G S, but that does not mean that the 4G version is not coming.
Over the past three years we have had a new iPhone model, so that means that another new model could be launched in 2010, but will this be the iPhone 4G, could it actually happen? When an iPhone 4G is finally released, we hope that it looks a little different to the current iPhone model as that design is starting to feel a little tired now. Let us hope that the new 4G model would look something like this Ultra-Thin iPhone 4G Concept. There are a few more Apple iPhone 4G designs, but it is always hard choosing the best from the bunch.
There have been a number of reports that when an iPhone 4G does actually happen, then it could gain more subscribers faster than the 3G did. There is a good reason for this, as we all crave new technology we will want to get out hands on the latest and fastest mobile broadband.
As we mentioned above, there have now been three new iPhone models over the past three years, and if a new 4G model is released in 2010, then this will prove a problem for those who have just signed in to a new contract with the new iPhone 3G S, this is because of the long contract period.
So the question is could we see a new iPhone 4G in 2010?
