A few weeks ago, EuroGamer had a chance to spend some time with Fight Night Round 4 on Xbox 360, now that the demo code has been made available to PSN, it was the perfect time for MazingerDUDE to have a quick try of the game.
The first thing that we all need to know here is that it is every bit as good as the Xbox 360 version. What made the game so good on the Xbox 360 was its 4x multi-sampling anti-aliasing, this has been removed on the Sony PS3 version and been replaced with the blur-inducing quincunx edge-smoothing technique. This has been tried and tested on a number of PS3 titles in the past.
The system is not perfect, as it has worked well on some games and poor on others, but it seems to work on Fight Night Round 4.
EuroGamer have a great video of the game, and gives you an idea of how well the game performs. There are however, a few compromises in the games performance, and that is with the cinematics, as they tend to fluctuate. View the link above to find out more.
