Ngmoco iPhone Plus+ Gaming Service: Like Xbox Live
Filed under: Cell Phones, Phone Software

Ngmoco, who is a high-end gaming firm for the iPhone is to launch its new iPhone Plus+ Gaming Service, which is a lot like Xbox Live. The service will go live today, June 17, 2009, just in time for when Apple roll out the new iPhone 3.0 OS firmware update.
The first game to go live with Plus+ on the iTunes App Store will be the new 3.0 edition of Star Defense from Ngmoco. We mentioned above that it is a bit like Xbox Live, but the Plus+ Gaming Service from Ngmoco is free.
iPhone users who use the new service will now be able to have friends, profile, game histories, records and challenges across a range of games. Business Insider also informs us that Facebook and Twitter will be made available as a plug, but this will come at a later date.
