We have heard a few rumors as to what the new Xbox 360 Jasper Motherboard looks like, judging by these pictures that we have found on Xbox-Scene; it certainly looks to have some great specs. The new Jasper Motherboard comes with 512MB internal MU.
A few pictures have also appeared on the XBH forums from Braza, which showed that the new motherboard for the Xbox 360 had 4gbit Samsung NAND inside. A number of forums have also confirmed this to be true. The new Xbox 260 with the Jasper Motherboard will be found inside a Japanese Arcade SKU, which was made on April 9 2009.
The only change that we can see from the images is the NAND, this has allowed for some extra space for a much larger internal memory unit, which is a big help for the Xbox 360. The original Arcade Jasper only has 214MBytes of usable internal memory; the new version is expected to have at least 496Mbytes of usable internal MU.

I’ve only read a snifter about the “new” 360 workings but won’t this cause a conflict for development and create the feeling of “hand me down” when it comes to older 360s? Surely the beauty of developing for a console is that the hardware is pretty much set-in-stone for a handful of years which is why we see some truly staggering feats in the latter part of its lifecycle.
