New iPhone OS 3.0: Office editing with ‘Documents to Go’
By: Peter Chubb | June 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentSomething has always been missing from the current iPhone software, but thankfully this is about to be rectified with the release of the iPhone OS 3.0, which is released sometime today June 17, 2009. One of the features that is missing is cut & paste, and this can now be put to great use with ‘Documents to Go’ allowing you to make office editing on the iPhone.
Documents to Go has been developed by DataViz, and is for the iPhone, how cool will it be to now be able to have the full benefits of Office document editing and creation. There are two version available, basic Word editing for £2.99 and Desktop sync program for £5.99.
This more expensive version has so much more to offer over the standard version, such as Exchange attachments. You can only view in Excel, PDF and PowerPoint for the moment, but Trusted Reviews do tell us that editing will be offered to us in the near future.
