It was a great result for the Peugeot team who won the 24 Hours Le Mans over the weekend, and for those who wished that they could get in on the action, you will be able to soon with the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport 3 on the Xbox 360. Game developers FM3 have said that this Virtual Le Mans will have the famous Circuit De La Sarthe.
Accordiing to AutoBlog, the track will have all those famous corners and straights that have made it so popular, the track is 8.5-mile and has 21 turns, all of which have been beautifully created in Forza Motorsport 3. I am not sure if I want to sit in the same spot for 24-hours, so I will only select a few laps at a time.
This is not the first time that La Sarthe has been re-created for a video game; the track also appears on GRiD in career mode. However, the edition of the track on Forza Motorsport 3 will be the best recreation yet, offering more detail than ever.
There will also be a choice of cars from Le Mans, such as the winning car the Peugeot 908; other cars include the Audi’s R8 and R10.
Forza Motorsport 3 for the Xbox 360 offers so much realism to the real cars, which you can read more on here.
