Apple iPhone 3.0 OS: What’s the release time?

Our readers keep asking what the release time is of the Apple iPhone 3.0 OS when it is launched tomorrow, June 17, 2009. I have now been searching for some time now and just cannot seem to find any details on this.
I will keep searching through the night to see what the release times are for each country, but if someone out there has any information on this, then we kindly ask if you could let us and our readers know by placing a comment below.
The new iPhone 3.0 OS is expected to bring with it 100 new features, so far we only know a handful of them. Let us hope by this time tomorrow we will get to see all of these updates in action on our iPhone. Some of the new features will only work on the new iPhone 3G S, which will be released on June 19.
AT&T are said to already be preparing for the new OS, well appart from MMS.

“Apple is located on the west coast, so the earliest you’ll see 3.0 go live is 3:00 am eastern time”

Yep. That sounds about right with the previous firmware releases.
Nothing still at 2:22 Eastern Daylight.
1206 am PST and still nothing… i guess it\’ll be out by the morning… i hope!
Since this is the Internet and anyone can claim to be an Apple employee, I say its still a valid idea to keep a time check going.
3:06am EST (12:06am PT) and nothing. Its been June 17th in Cupertino for 6 minutes and its not out yet.
IIRC 2.0 came out pretty early. I definitely had it installed before 6am EST since I was already at work by then.
will it be available in europe in the same time?
Apple website states: “Download the 3.0 Software Update.
Available June 18th.”
inly staes download available on the singapore website take out the SG from the webaddress…
where did you find that………..coz I just checked the site but could not find
no it doesnt… it still says 17 but its 12:41 pt and still no update
i have a feeling 6 is probably right…sigh
its 3:40 am eastern time but until now I did not get any download update of the new os. Well actually I could not sleep until now because of this release. Well that’s it. I cannot stand any more and I am going to give one final try and then will sleep.
