Apple iPhone 3.0 OS: What’s the release time?

Our readers keep asking what the release time is of the Apple iPhone 3.0 OS when it is launched tomorrow, June 17, 2009. I have now been searching for some time now and just cannot seem to find any details on this.
I will keep searching through the night to see what the release times are for each country, but if someone out there has any information on this, then we kindly ask if you could let us and our readers know by placing a comment below.
The new iPhone 3.0 OS is expected to bring with it 100 new features, so far we only know a handful of them. Let us hope by this time tomorrow we will get to see all of these updates in action on our iPhone. Some of the new features will only work on the new iPhone 3G S, which will be released on June 19.
AT&T are said to already be preparing for the new OS, well appart from MMS.

Sorry guys. I meant to say I called Apple…I also called ATT&T and they told me that MMS will be up and running when the OS 3.0 is released tomorrow! I spoke with 2 different managers and they all said the same thing. I have my fingers crossed, they got there stuff together!

When i rang O2 in the UK earlier the man said the update was probably going to be online at 6pm (BST), 5pm (GMT)!
I’m assuming it will be released at 12:00:01 AM PT, due to Apple HQ being in Cupertino, CA.
Not 12:00am Eastern…
Apple never posts release times, I have noticed they launch mid morning to avoid an extreme server load, so people will download it as they get up and with the time zones it will help even out the server load.
Still nothing at 1:37 EST.
Nothing at 1:47 EDT (not EST btw). Maybe the release will be over on the pacific side?
i work for apple iphone and the software will not be released till tomorrow am 6am west coast time you should be able to start downloading 3.0 from itunes.
what about EST?
