Apple iPhone 3.0 OS: What’s the release time?

Our readers keep asking what the release time is of the Apple iPhone 3.0 OS when it is launched tomorrow, June 17, 2009. I have now been searching for some time now and just cannot seem to find any details on this.
I will keep searching through the night to see what the release times are for each country, but if someone out there has any information on this, then we kindly ask if you could let us and our readers know by placing a comment below.
The new iPhone 3.0 OS is expected to bring with it 100 new features, so far we only know a handful of them. Let us hope by this time tomorrow we will get to see all of these updates in action on our iPhone. Some of the new features will only work on the new iPhone 3G S, which will be released on June 19.
AT&T are said to already be preparing for the new OS, well appart from MMS.

I get at least 30 email a day about the release of the iPhone 3.0
and from what I have read it’s supposed to come out at 8:00 am but idunno if it it’s by time zones or what.
6am 17th June in New Zealand (GMT +12) and its still not available. I guess it will be midnight on the 16th @ Cupertino

00:00 and the iPhone 3.0 software becomes available for download..
After speaking to O2 in the UK, they have advised me that OS 3.0 will be available for download at 6pm GMT. Whether or not this is accurate or not is another story, but it gives us some idea of when to hook up to iTunes!
I believe that the release time is 00:01 in California. This is due to Apple HQ being in Cupertino, California. This means about 8:00 am for U.K. residents.
When I was looking on different apple website for the countries in Australia’s website apple mentioned 18th June If we consider this date as a release date time would be 15:00 GMT. and 1600 BST

being that apple india say its released on the 17th (+5.30 gmt) and apple hong kong (+8.00 gmt) the 18th.
So i reckon about +7/8gmt in the 17th for a worldwide rollout.
it’s not 00.02 and i already have app updates for 3.0 firmware,
but no firmware yet
I just spoke with ATT&T. They have not been told a release time either. BUT, according to the guy I spoke with, they are just as eager as we are!
