Prototype Game Review Round Up

We wrote about new Xbox 360 game Prototype a few days ago, and now reviewers have had some time to spend with the game and are now able to offer us their opinion. We thought we would have a search around and offer you a review round up of this popular game.

Matthew Simmons from examiner.com has said that we should try the game and do not listen to all the hype. Simmons also added that the game is fun and it disserves to be played. He gives Prototype 8 out of 10.

Nick Cowen from the Telegraph has concluded that Alex Mercer may be a nasty character, but he is compelling enough to command your attention. Prototype delivers most of our guilty pleasures, and is the perfect stress-reliever.

Erik Brudvig from IGN reckons that Prototype has a number of cool features, but it lacks many of the finishing touches that could have made the game more memorable. The graphics needed more work along with the game engine, but Alex Mercer allows you to take your mind of those bad points.

Agree, a great game that doesn’t feel quite finished or as polished as it could have been but enough cool features to keep you playing. It feels like the game a equivalent of Nightwatch, when compared to Interview with a Vampire.

Nice summary. Is “deserves” a typo, btw?

I think prototype is a great game a little marvel super hero powers in alex mercer but that’s what I wanted to see something different this game is a lot of fun and I think it should be runner up for game of the year

This game is actually pretty good and I think what slippy sloppy said is right, it kinda feels that some last touches were not made in the game at times, but it was worth while playing, kept me going.

I recently purchase this game and have to say was rather disapointed. Not as polished or good looking as it should be. U play a superhuman character that can morph, fly, run up buildings and lift cars with 1 hand! sound great but just doesnt play right its too fast. Game feels rushed and too easy. Good idea and think if a sequal is made this will be the best game ever!
