Alltel Wireless and LG Electronics have come together to launch a new cell phone called the LG Tritan. The phone with its host of wireless function comes with a nicely sized 3-inch touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera and access to the speeds that come with the 3G network.
If you are looking for more flexibility in a phone, then the LG Tritan could be just what you are looking for, thanks to that touchscreen interface along with its full QWERTY keyboard. Users often complain that the Apple iPhone does not give them the choice of two, so is great to see that LG are giving users what they want.
According to Business Wire, the LG Tritan fits nicely in to the palm of your hand, and you love to text, then this function is very easy to access. Alltel Wireless are selling the LG Tritan for $99.99, that is with a $100 mail-in rebate at Alltel retail stores, as well as when you shop online at shopalltel.com.

Hi all, I got a chance to see a demo LG Tritan and it’s a really cool phone. I heard from a U.S. Cellular rep. that it should be in the store sometime this week. I have the Samsung Delve and I can’t wait to return it so I can get the LG Tritan. I was told it has Yahoo Messaging and IM Messaging.
someone create a site for the LG Tritan, http://www.LG-Tritan.com check it out when you have time.
I have been an Alltel customer for over 5 years.
Before I was con into buying this LG TRITAN I had the alltel flip phone….not many features…..BUT IT WORKED.
The flip phone lost its display due to the magnetic field of the protective phone case(at least that is what I was told by customer service) And decided to upgrade to a little more features……My first mistake….Second mistake was listening to the sales person at the Alltel store….Told her I travel 340 days out of the year and need a RELIABLE phone that makes calls when I need to make calls….Thats when the third mistake came into play..”we have the largest coverage in the world….from Oregon to North Carolina….from Texas to North Dakota and EVERY WHERE in between”….Well.luck to have it…..I was transfered to Washington (state) for my work(southern part)
and live in Oregon (northern part) been here for 6 weeks and can NOT make any calls….barely can send text messages..full bars on the signal strength means nothing.
I work on top of a mountain that is 2120 ft above sea level…you would think close to satelites better the service…NOT…..Have callled customer service on their 800
number and receive the same reply…”have you tried turning your phone on and off?”
When I find an Alltel store they are getting this phone back and I am choosing a phone on MY OWN.
