Sony PSP v5.51 Firmware Update: Release Soon
By: Alan Ng | June 11, 2009
It has been confirmed that an upcoming Sony PSP firmware update is on the way soon. Sadly though, it’s one of those ’stability’ updates again and will not contain any new features.
The news was confirmed over on the official PS blog recently by Eric Lempel. The official statement reads:
A new PSP firmware update, v5.51, will be released soon. System software stability during use of some features has been improved.
It’s a shame they dont include at least ‘one’ new feature during these routine security updates, don’t you think? It would certainly be more worthwhile seeing a minor new feature everytime these come out, rather than nothing at all.
Expect the update to go live anytime.
