My brother is a strange person; he has a house on three floors, but only has one phone in the entire house. I have often told him to get another couple of handsets, well I think the GE 25942EE3 Cordless 5.8GHz Triple Handset Phone System with Digital Answering System would be the perfect solution for him.
The phones all have Call-Waiting and Caller ID with 40 Name and Number Memory. The main base has a digital answering system, perfect for my brother, as he never answers his phone in time. The phone even displays the name of number of an incoming call; even you are in the middle of a call.
