If you were to ask Verizon Wireless what were their most popular phones were, I reckon that they would say messaging phones. It is for this reason that the network carrier is offer to its customers, the Motorola Rival, which has been designed for those who love to send messages.
The handset has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, along with a touch-sensitive dial pad to the front of the phone, Cnet News points out that this is very similar to the LG Neon in style. The Motorola has a range of messaging features, such as one-touch access to text messages.
The handset only offers a 2.0-megapixel camera, but that is not what the phone is all about. Other features include, 8GB of removable memory via the microSD card slot, GPS, Navigator support and much more.
The Motorola Rival will be available on Verizon Wireless from today, June 10, 2009 with a cost of $99.99, this is after a $50 mail-in-rebate, this is on a two-year agreement with Verizon.
