COD World at War: Patch v1.5 released for PS3 and Xbox 360

Looks like Call of Duty: World at War fans are in for a real treat. Along with the new Map Pack 2 that is scheduled for release today, Treyarch have released a new patch which not only adds support for the new content, but fixes numerous bugs and glitches too. Nice work!
Patch v1.5 applies to both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game and Treyarch Community Manager JD_2020 was kind enough to let us know in advance whats in store in the patch.
As taken from the official website, head is a brief summary of what is fixed:
This list applies to both platforms:
* Significantly streamlined MP matchmaking.
* Increased the number of safety checks in the MP spawn system to prevent players from spawning within the line of sight of an enemy.
* Implemented a new stats backup system – this system creates a regular backup snapshot of player stats; if the game detects data corruption, instead of attempting to reset the player to level 1, it will notify the player that their stats have been restored to the most recent backup.
* Addressed a rare occurrence referred to as the “dummy glitch” in MP, where players would appear to be prone in 3rd person but would have a standing view in 1st person.
* Patched several possible MP map exploits.
* Improved dog spawning in MP.
* Improved AI path-finding in Nazi Zombies to prevent potential exploits.
So there we have it. Hopefully players will no longer be able to cheat during MP matches and also no longer be able to perform the various glitches in Zombie mode.

I have just installed the latest 1.05 patch for COD5 World at War on PS3.
Everything was going fine - started the game as normal - went to MULTIPLAYER - selected MAP PACK 1 which i have had installed for months now - and it’s GONE……… i repeat GONE.
The update 1.5 for the game COD5 WAW on PS3 has totally removed MAP PACK 1.
Went to see if i could play a game of ZOMBIES (Verrucht) - it’s gone.
Im now re-downloading the whole of MAP PACK 1 again (703MB).
The info in game also suggests to visit the PS3 store (Im in the UK by the way)to download MAP PACK 2 - this is not yet posted onto the PS3 store - which i gather from past experience anyway as i know it will be sometime later this evening.
I was just miffed about losing MAP PACK 1 and was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
I just downloaded (and installed) map pack 2 and NONE of the maps are showing up and neither is the zombie level! although my ps3 IS having some problems, the same thing sorta happened with my map pack 1 (before my ps3 messed up) i downloaded it and i had the zombie level and ONE of the MP maps but the other two maps werent there at all… i dont think my ps3 messing up would have affected my map packs… my ps3 wont let me download the new v1.05 patch for cod either… iv spent 20 bucks for like one map and a zombie level and its pissing me off, if any knows a phone number that i can call to complain then it would be GREATLY appreciated (or even advice would be helpful)
Rofl was just reading this post to my son who was busy killing in wow and he mentioned hes maps had moved
hes now checking to see if they are still there and yes they are, they have all been lumped together in one list and he says can you please not frighten him like that again rofl
Zombie map may have been removed for updating
wat time does it come out in usa o yea and anotherthing take that 15 second delay of the rifle rocket i would love to go rebuy waw but that was realy um yag what you guys did

MAP PACK 2 available for download NOW…..
im downloading now…… as for my previous post - i downloaded MP1 and re-installed and all was good again
MAP PACK is disabled in game until you have the latest MAP PACK 2
how much are these map packs i cant check right now im downloading 1.05

also just wondering howlong did it take yall to download the version 1.05 b/c mine keeps corupting everytime it reaches 20% downloaded and just to reach that it takes two hours.

Only a problem with the Update:
I was so close to get the platinium trophie, and now 10 more trophies have appeared. Besides, these trophies can only be obtained if you buy the new Maps Pack… Unfair…
Im in dubai and map pack 1 and map pack 2 are not in my playstation store. does any one know how to get it in dubai? or why i have this problem?
