Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 release today
By: Peter Chubb | June 11, 2009 | 20 CommentsCalling all you Call of Duty: World at War fans, Activision and Treyarch have announced that the new map pack will release today, June 11, 2009. This is now the second map to be released for the ever-popular game and features three new Multiplayer levels.
According to Team Box, included in the map pack is an additional level in the 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies bonus mode, which I am sure will keep you busy for hours. It is great to see something as simple as Zombie mode was all it needed to make Call of Duty: World at War so popular.
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to have a jungle map with waterfalls and hidden caves, then you need to check out Banzai map. Your aim is to battle for control of the river bridge. Corrosion is yet another cool map; there you will face your enemy in a train yard. The other map in this new map pack is Sub Pens, while caught in a monsoon; you will have to battle to try to take over a bombed-out submarine base.
The new map in Zombie mode is Shi No Numa” (Zombie Swamp), and features Perk machines, one such machine is the Wunderwaffe DG-2. Well you had better get downloading, what perfect timing for the weekend.
