iPhone OS 3.0 Update: Will you try before 3G S?
By: Alan Ng | June 10, 2009
When Apple revealed the new iPhone 3G S at this year’s WWDC event, they also revealed that the phone will come with the upcoming OS 3.0 firmware update as standard. Are you happy with this, or would you prefer to try out the new features on the 3G first, before upgrading to the 3G S?
Heres a quick summary of what we can expect in the OS 3.0 firmware update, which goes live on June 17th.
- You’ll now be able to send media via MMS.
- Cut, Copy and Paste
- Optional Landscape Keyboard.
- Spotlight search
- Improved Calendar
- Internet Tethering.
- Next gen iPhone App support
- Enhanced Safari browser
Those are just some of the many features that you can expect in the new update. Let us know if you’re happy with OS 3.0 coming as standard on the iPhone 3G S, or if you would prefer to sample the new update on the iPhone 3G.
