Hands-on: Find My iPhone using GPS and OS 3.0

We have a hands-on report for you to read on Apple’s new ‘Find my iPhone’ service, that was recently announced at WWDC 09. Engadget have written a quick summary of the new service, as well providing a video of the process in action. Check it out.

Find my iPhone is one of the many new features that will be included in the iPhone OS 3.0 update, which is expected to go live next week. The service works using your MobileMe account on a computer and you can track down your iPhone via GPS and send messages to your device.

There seems to be quite a lot of lag during the process though, so watch the video over at Engadget and let us know your impressions on it.
