It has been confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of Ghostbusters: The Video Game will be region free, meaning that Xbox 360 owners in the UK can import the US version, if they want to play the game at the same time as everyone else.
The good news is according to GamingTarget, who reported the news recently. As most of you will be aware, Sony have acquired the rights to publish the game in Europe as a timed exclusive for the PS2 and PS3, meaning that UK Xbox 360 owners miss out.
However, Atari is still publishing the US version on multi-platform and now that we know it’s going to be region free, UK Xbox 360 owners should start importing if they want a copy on release.

Is anybody going to bother though? More expensive and despite it being region free, any DLC or patches will probably be region locked.
With so many other great games out, the wait will fly by.
It’s not region-free. ALL 360 games are region locked, no exceptions…
(confusion may be because all PS3 games ARE region-free)
Not all xbox 360 game are region locked, try visting pay-asia.com or videogameplus who test xbox 360 games to see if they are region locked or not.
