Closing Chrysler Dealers: Opelika Dealership Reacts
By: Peter Chubb | June 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentA number of Chrysler dealers have reacted badly to the news that they have to close their dealership today. The Opelika dealership General Sales Manager Johnny Jones has said that it is not nice when someone informs you that your business is being taken from you, and there is nothing you can do about it.
WRBL reports that Jones said that he is not about to wallow in misery, he said that he will instead look ahead, saying “We tend to look at things positively and move on.“ Johnny Jones has said that he is one of the lucky ones, as he does not have to shut down his whole business.
Jones is keeping things close to his chest when it comes to the company’s future plans, but he does plan to make up for the loss of his Jeep dealership. He said that Glenn Smith Jeep will look forward and will expand and then offer employment to more people.
