Chrysler News: Dealerships closing across the country, June 10
By: Peter Chubb | June 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentToday is June 10, 2009, and is a sad day for hundreds of Chrysler dealerships across the country as they are closing today. These dealerships have been selling these vehicles for years, but as they appeared on the dreaded closure list, they will no longer be able to sell the brand.
One of those dealers to close is Uftring Chrysler in Peoria, who has been trying to sell off their inventory of Chrysler vehicles since they were told last month. Manager Steve Kilpatrick said that its dealership was to be turned into a used car lot, so will no longer be able to service warranties on Chrysler vehicles.
Ciproud.com said that the Uftring Chrysler dealership in Peoria opened back in 2006; manager of the dealership, Kilpatrick said that this was a sad day for the business.
In other Chrysler news, the Supreme Court has allowed the sale of Chrysler assets to Fiat to go ahead.
