Xbox 360 vs. PS3: 2009 Exclusives Left

We have an article for you to read now which discusses the idea of who has the best exclusives on the Xbox 360 and PS3, that are still due to be released in 2009.
The list comes from gaming site CouchMercenaries, who have compiled a list of exclusive titles that are on the way this this year for either the 360 or PS3. Looking at the list, it seems as if they might have missed a few titles on the PS3 side, take a look yourself and let us know your opinions on it.
The Xbox 360 have some good titles on the way in Halo 3: ODST, Forza 3, Splinter Cell: Conviction and GTA: The ballad of gay Tony, so actually things don’t seem too bad for the 360’s 2009 lineup after all.

I want to get more games. Is it possible to down load?
You can already download full games on PS3. You have been able to for a long time. They also charge you real money, some some crappy points currency.
Get a PS3, and you will see how crap the 360 really is.
Wow… what a rubbish (original) article. Almost guaranteed that it was created to cause trouble or at least written by someone who truly doesn’t know about the exclusives coming out on both platforms.
However, at present (and this is after asking non-fanboy Xbox360 owning folks) everyone seems to agree that the PS3 has a very strong year approaching. It’s already begun and the momentum shows no sign of slowing down.
Saying that, I would never want MS or the 360 to be smashed into the ground as that reduces competition and ultimately that’s healthy for us consumer-folk.
Both platforms have had some cracking games but I think PS3 will be having a better year this year. Sony, maybe, are finally realising that it’s STILL all about the games. Ignore the blu-ray… the Cell chip. Just get us good games and we’re happy. Same goes for all consoles.

As much as I agree competition is good for consumers, Microsoft don’t really deserve to sell ANY consoles, their treatment of consumers is dire. They knowingly launched the 360 with critical design flaws, so critical infact, nearly 4 years later they are still unfixed.
If you care about consumer rights, as you claim, then you would be warning people away from Xbox and thus rewarding Microsoft for their premature launch strategy.
The RROD is laughable at best. MS really didn’t seem to care about the quality of their hardware and still appear to convey that feeling even this far down the line. The attitude of “it’s broken so we’ll replace it” smacks of an uncaring attitude. However, I wouldn’t want Sony truly dominating the market (or Nintendo for that matter). Outside of the USA, MS isn’t doing nearly as well and their Japanese efforts are better than last time but still terrible.
Your comment (and I agree with this) implies that first out of the gate can still reap great rewards even if things are rushed, not tested, and the consumer gets stung. That truly sucks.
microsoft really screwed the pooch on this gen… they focused so much on making exclusive ps3 titles multiplat that they have just a half filled pocket of exclusive titles which if it doesn’t have the title halo or gears of war in it, r half baked titles (i’m looking at u too human, left 4 dead, and fable 2)… i have both the ps3 and 360 and i regret getting the 360 (rrod on me 8 times) microsoft made me pay 4 the 3rd n 4th time since I was out of warranty and they didn’t extend the warranty till couple months after the 4th time i sent it in, payed $120 both times what great consumer service on their part huh. honest to go i hope they fail this gen because of the horrible way the do business and how poorly they treat their consumers, gave em a chance w the 360 they spat in my face M$ needs to fail this gen to learn for the next gen…
