Sony PS3 Price Cut News: rumors point to August 2009
By: Alan Ng | June 9, 2009 | 10 CommentsFollowing on from the disappointment of no PS3 price cut at E3 2009, it has been rumored that Sony are planning to cut the price of the Playstation 3 by $100 this coming August.
That’s according to GameDaily, who have reported that the price cut will happen mid-August, round the time of release for Madden as well as the upcoming GamesCom event.
It’s fair to say that consumers still believe that the price of the PS3 console is too expensive, so with all the previous price rumors, maybe August will be the perfect time for Sony to cut the price once and for all.
Do you think Sony will introduce a $100 price cut this August? Let us know your thoughts on this.
