Samsung i8000: The Next Omnia
By: Alan Ng | June 9, 2009
It has been revealed recently that the upcoming Samsung Omnia phone is to be called the Samsung i8000. It was originally thought that the phone would be titled the ‘Omnia2′, but that could be set to change.
As reported from IntoMobile, it is also a possibility that the phone will adopt both names. Samsung i8000 or Omnia2, which one sounds better to you?
Main specs of the phone include an 8.1 – Megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 30 Fps VGA Video recording and a bright 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA (480×800 pixels) touchscreen.
The phone will run on Windows Mobile OS, either 6.1 or 6.5. More details are expected to be announced at a Samsung press event on June 15th. We’ll keep you updated.
