WWDC 2009: Safari 4 for download today
By: Peter Chubb | June 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWWDC 2009 only started about an hour and a half ago, and we have already been treated to some great news. The Worldwide Developer Conference is usually about software and the announcement that Safari 4 is ready for download today is a treat to Mac users.
Engadget reports that the new OS offers unparalleled speed when compared to the likes of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8. The new browser has a number of new features; these include full history search and full spotlight search.
Apple has certainly put a lot of thought into Safari 4 when building the new Snow Leopard OS. If a plug-in crashes, the browser will remain intact, this means that all you need to do is just reload the page, not restart the whole browser.
