By: Peter Chubb | June 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWWDC 2009 is almost here, so it is the best time to give you a roundup of all the latest rumors surrounding the new Apple iPhone. It is still not certain if Apple will announce a new handset, but all the signs are certainly there.
Mac Rumors have summarized the most likely rumors, and all the signs are there as the Palm Pre is considered to be the iPhone killer, so Apple need a new Smartphone. The Palm Pre uses the ARM Cortex-A8 processor; it looks as though the new iPhone will use the same.
Apple at the moment use the 4th generation 3D graphics chips from Imagination Technologies, but as a 5th generation is now is now available, there is no reason why Apple will not use this in the new handset.
Other features that should make it on to the new handset are a Magnetometer, 2.3-megapixel Auto Focus Camera, Video, 4GB to 32GB sizes and 7.2 Mbps 3G.
