WWDC 2009: iPhone 3.0 and Mac OS X v10.6 most certain

We do not have that long to go now until WWDC 2009 kicks-off, and all rumors point to Apple unveiling a new iPhone and its next-generation Macintosh operating system, but how certain are we that these rumors are true. Well only time will tell, well hours in fact. We will certainly see Mac OS X v10.6.

Today is June 8, and all eyes will be on Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference this morning. The event has always seen the biggest news announced from Apple, and 2009 looks set to carry on with that tradition. Information Week reports that the event will be showing of the new iPhone running on the latest iPhone 3.0 OS, which will help get the most from the new hardware.

There have been bold claims that Apple will unveil the iPhone at WWDC 2009, but it will not go on sale for a few weeks after that. Let us give you a quick history lesson, the first iPhone was launched in late June 2007, the iPhone 3G in July 2008, so surly there will be a new iPhone announced today.
