
Safari and iPhone 3.0 firmware update
By: Alan Ng | June 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe knew most of the upcoming iPhone 3.0 software features already, but Apple did have some suprises for us all when showing the new iPhone firmware off at WWDC 2009.
As reported from MacRumorsLive, there will be a new and improved Safari browser in the iPhone 3.0 update. You’ll now be able to benefit from Javascript which is three times faster and support for QuickTime X features such as HTTP audio and video streaming.
There’s also updates to iTunes such as movie and tv rentals, AutoFill for forms, and improved HTML 5 support including audio and video tags.
