Project Natal’s Milo: voice recognition technology confusion
By: Alan Ng | June 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentAn article over at GamerBlorge has surfaced, writing about the actual potential of Milo, one of the interactive games that was demoed with Project Natal at this year’s E3 event.
More specifically, the voice recognition features that Milo promises to offer. GamerBlorge has explained how Milo doesn’t seem as impressive as first thought with reports from people who saw Milo behind the scenes labelling the new technology ‘misleading’.
Shane Satterfield, editor-in-chief of GameTrailers had the chance to demo Milo and had this to say about it:
”All I’m going to say about Milo is that its not legit. there were a lot of smoke and mirrors going on there, not the case with the ball demo [Ricochet] and the other stuff but with Milo there was definitely a little bit of deception going on”.
With the lack of live demos for Project Natal at E3, critics were always going to be sceptical of the new tech. Read the full article in the link above and give us your opinions on Project Natal.
