O2 and New iPhone 3G S: Tethering and MMS prices
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

Now that the dust has settled over the announcement of the new iPhone 3G S at the WWDC 2009, there seems to be a huge amount of questions being asked, one of which is tethering and MMS prices. We thought we would take a look at O2’s prices.
Cnet UK have been doing some digging and it looks as though O2 customers will need an Internet tethering bolt on for tethering. The prices are as follows, 3GB for £14.68 per month, 10GB for £29.36, both of these include The Cloud’s Wi-Fi. This certainly is very expensive, something that might take some time to catch-on.
As for the price of an MMS, this will be available from June 19, when the new iPhone OS 3.0 becomes available to download. The cost of an MMS will come from your text allowance; this will take four of your SMS allowance.
