There was a fair portion of Apple’s WWDC 09 conference that was dedicated to the upcoming iPhone 3.0 firmware and rightly so. We have listed some of the upcoming features, apps and games that will be upcoming to the iPhone soon.
First of is gaming support for the iPhone. Apple and Gameloft showed off a new racing title called Asphalt 5, which they are calling ‘the best racing game on the iPhone’. Users will be able to listen to tracks from iTunes, whilst driving. The game will feature peer to Peer multiplayer over Bluetooth and worldwide multiplayer over WiFi.
Another additions include an app called Critical Care from Airstrip Technologies, which will bring heart-rate measuring type features to the iPhone.
