New iPhone 3GS Pre-order: ship on release date

It seems as if Apple are not wasting anytime with the iPhone 3GS. The new model is now available to Pre-order from the Apple store and it states that you’ll recieve it on June 19th with free shipping.

I just ordered my 32gb white 3gs
Can’t wait for it to come. Apple says it’ll be here on the 19th. Guess whose calling out of work that day!
men do you know if i can order iphone 3gs the same as you at Greece where i live beacuse i dont know and do you know how much does it cost with the shipping ?
I ordered my black 32gb 3GS yesterday. Unfortunately, the order status currently says “Ship date: June 19. Delivers on: June 24th.” I really hope that’s going to change before the 19th, because the only reason I preordered was because their website told me I’d get it the 19th.

I ordered the 16GB yesterday.
Also disappointed it will NOT be delivered June 19, and was annoyed to be offered faster delivery at a price.
But I think ATT stores are gonna be swamped so I went for the free shipping
well i just ordered the iphone 3gs in white (16gb) and it states that it will be SHIPPED on the 19th and that it takes up to 5 business days sooooooooo thats where they get you! but hey better than waiting in line!
you got that right, i hate waiting in line, i have pre ordered mine from quidco and got £60 cashback too which im happy with.
i wish they would have made it slimmer though.

I am betting that changes.
Yeah it says for me “Ships: Delivers by June 19th” but I payed an extra 10 for expedited shipping just to play it safe. My phone has been nearly dead for months now, but I had a hunch a new iphone was on the horizon so I didn’t want to slap down on a 3g… so I not only want it here by Friday, I really NEED it here by them.
I ordered my iPhone on Friday June 12th and The estimated delivery date is June 17th, according to UPS.
