
New 15-inch MacBook Pro at WWDC 2009
By: Alan Ng | June 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWWDC 09 is officially underway and we have the first big announcement for you. It’s a new 15-inch MacBook Pro, with Apple stating it’s their fastest MacBook Pro to date and offering around 7 hours of battery life.
As Engadget reports, the new Macbook Pro will contain speeds of up to 3.06Ghz with a Core 2 Duo CPU. You’ll be able to fit up to 8GB of RAM, while the new 15″ Macbook Pro’s will come with up to 500GB or 256GB (SSD) of storage space.
The cheapest version of the new 15″ range will cost you $1699 (which is a price cut from last year) and Apple have said that the new models will start shipping today.
