Microsoft Windows 7 price and upgrade details
By: Peter Chubb | June 8, 2009 | 1 CommentMicrosoft officially revealed the release date of its Windows 7 operating system, and they have been giving ever since. They have given us details on the price as well as more upgrade details, not only that but we have even been treated to some box art.
Vista Blorge noticed that we have not heard much in weeks about Windows 7, but now we have been inundated with information from Microsoft. Over the past week, we have seen the box art for Windows 7, which we have to say looks to have a contemporary feel.
The release date will be on June 26, which is when the Windows 7 upgrades will occur. The price for Windows 7 Home Premium is $49.99 and Windows 7 Professional will have a price of $99.99. These prices are very low, and we presume that it is just a promotional price and not the final price.
Microsoft will be turning off the beta version of Windows 7 on July 1 2009
