Free iPhone OS 3.0 Software Update: In Detail

Before the launch of WWDC 2009, we already knew about the new iPhone OS 3.0 Software, but now apple have shown us a few more features allowing us to talk about the update in more detail. The update can be used on the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G, iPod Touch, and the upcoming iPhone 3G S.

The new iPhone OS 3.0 Software allows you to run the next generation of iPhone apps; these include peer-to-peer games and much more. The first and most popular feature has to be Cut, Copy & Paste. You can select an entire block of text with a tap and then copy and paste it from the web, text message or even an email.

Another great feature, which we have all been waiting on, has to be the new Landscape keyboard. This means that you can now use the iPhone in the landscape format when sending mail and messages.
