Bentley Hybrid Continental GT: Rumors

There have been a few rumors that Luxury carmaker Bentley is looking to produce hybrid versions of its vehicles, and we have to wonder if this spy shot is a new Bentley Continental GT Hybrid. Fastest Car was over in Spain and managed to grab a few shots of the car, which is where Bentley does its hot weather testing.

The exterior looks much the same as a standard Continental GT, but a closer inspection through the rear window shows some strange equipment. The photographer who took the photo also commented on how quiet the car was, pointing to more speculation that this is a hybrid model.

This could even be a mule for the next generation Continental GT; this is not due for production for another two to three years yet. If this is the case, then this could still be a hybrid version. The same hybrid technology thought to be in use in this Bentley is the same in use in the Porsche Panamera and Cayenne, due out next year.
