We know it’s good marketing for brands to get their products in celebrities’ hands, and Microsoft know this too. The three videos on this page show celebrities having hands-on time with Xbox 360’s Project Natal at E3 2009.
The first video shows Felicia Day playing with Project Natal, watch as she shows her amazement at how good Microsoft’s Project Natal is.
The second video shows Paul Rodriguez getting hands-on with Project Natal. Finally the last video shows Willie Gault, Eric Dickerson, and Sugar Ray Leonard having hands-on time.
Have a watch of the three videos below this post and then let us know what you think of Project Natal.

Pay special attention to the HUGE hardware mounted under the TV including the large video camera (which MS have blurred out on their carefully edited YouTube videos).
Yet more evidence that the entire Natal Promo was mocked up (if there wasn’t enough evidence of that already, like how it can magically scan through your fingers on the skate board demo etc). I’ve also read that the hands-on with Milo involved a developer sat in the room programming the responses - I’m guessing they won’t be included when the ‘game’ ships meaning it will be as advanced as EyePet on PS3!
There’s a reason these demos are behind closed doors! Let’s see how the real thing works when they cut the tech down enough to fit in that little sensor bar they show off on the faked trailers.
The 360 fanboys are in for a big disappointment - enjoy your Eyetoy party games in 2011 won’t you!
I am a PS3 owner, can’t wait for Sony’s PS3 motion controller, yes it had a few bugs but these will eventually be ironed out. However, this bashing of M$ ‘Natal’ is pathetic and comes mostly from people who have watched video of it and/or no nothing about the technology behind the system. People this is called innovation and if it further enhances our gaming experience, then I dont care who brings onto the scene. This technology is real I have seen it, it is far more advanced than the playstation eye and while it has a few issues they are mainly software based. It is early days though and these problems will be sorted.
M$ would not put up all this money and have stars and software houses backing it, if it didn’t work. Think about it, it would do them more harm than good, this bashing is coming from people who know M$ have something which has caught the media attention.
I love my PS3, but I am no fanboy, not one of these companies is worth fighting for, fight for something that has far more meaning in life. I love innovation and want it to enhance my gaming experience, no matter who brings it to the table.
Honestly PS3Owner, that was one of the most anal replies to a video game article I’ve ever read. It was a demonstration of technology that hasn’t been put into a consumer format yet. Stop making up weird conspiracy theories about it.
