New iPhone Software v3.0: firmware update roundup

By: Peter Chubb | June 7, 2009 | Leave a Comment

With all those rumors of a new Apple iPhone for 2009, what happen if that turns out to not be true, we still have the new iPhone software, 3.0. Let us take a closer look at the firmware roundup and see if we are all up to date as what new features it brings with it.

Gizmodo have been looking more into this and have been looking at what we can expect to see from the new update, but first they have been looking at the unconfirmed updates to the firmware.

The unconfirmed are as follows, No More Free App Re-Downloading, Better Camera, Voice Control, Direct iTunes TV and Movie Downloads and Video Editing Controls. If I had to choose the best from those rumored features, then I would have to go for Voice Control. I have a Bluetooth system in my car and it is such a pain not being able to call a contact with voice command.

We all know that MMS is one of the best features to be added to new iPhone Software v3.0, but the question is, how will you enable it. Gizmodo has taken the time to give you a walkthrough of how to do this task, along with how to tether with AT&T.

Keep up-to-date with all what is going on at the WWDC 2009
