New iPhone 2009: Photos before WWDC 2009
By: Peter Chubb | June 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith just one day to go until the start of WWDC 2009, it is still not known if Apple will introduce a new iPhone, but all the signs are certainly there. We have already seen a few leaked photos, as well as what the specs could be, but will it actually happen.
The leaked photos that we have seen so far are very blurry, but according to The iPhone Blog, they certainly look real to him. The first leaked shots were of a replacement bezel for the new iPhone 2009 appearing on a Chinese replacement parts website. The part showed that the new iPhone would keep the same form factor, but with a black trim instead of silver.
A couple of days after that MacRumors leaked another photo, this further backed up rumors that there would be two new iPhones, one with a shiny black finish, the other with a matte black finish. The best leaked images so far has to be those from a Chinese website called UMPC Fever, which you can view here. They were posted on Saturday, 3 a.m. local time, again the shots a very blurry, so make of it what you will.
