If you are limited on space in your home and are looking for ways to save on space, then the Cirago Multimedia Center CMC 1000 Series would certainly be a great start. This device allows you to record, store and stream all of your media content, and then view them on your TV.

When we removed the Cirago Multimedia Center from the packaging, we were treated to a compact and sleek design with a black finish. There are two storage models available, the 500GB and the 1TB model, we have been sent to 500GB model to review.

To stream all of your media content, you can choose between LAN or WLAN, there is even a wireless adapter included. This allows you to stream and play photos, videos and music; you can even record live TV. The videos can be played in a choice of 720p or 1080i on the media center.

Recording live TV shows can be done from the touch of a button; you can also schedule future recordings.
There are five recording modes, HQ, SP, LP, EP and SLP. On this 500GB model HQ gives you 120 hours of video recording, SP gives you 240 hours, LP, 360, EP 480, and SLP offers you a massive 700 hours of video recording. There is also a time shift features, allowing you to pause and rewind live TV.

As we mentioned above you can connect to your home network with the choice of wired or wireless, this gives you easy access to all your media content through your home network. If you have files stored on a USB Flash Drive or memory card, then just place them in the USB port and memory card reader at the side of the device. This allows you to transfer files without the need for a computer.

The Cirago Multimedia Center CMC 1000 Series can record from any device that can output to audio video, this means that you can connect a VCR, DVD player, cable or satellite and then record. I have had many people say to me that why would they need a device like this when their Sony PS3 is also a complete multimedia center.

I asked him if his PS3 allows him to stream, his media content from his home network direct to the device, as well as record, pause and rewind live TV, he said no. The Cirago Multimedia Center CMC 1000 Series is truly a great gadget that you need in your home. To see a demonstration of the media device in action, view the video below.

Great product, did not find anything else in the markeplace that matches the number of loaded features this product offers. I will definitely buy
Some review. Looks like you read the pamphlet and wrote it without plugging in the unit. What was the recording quality of SLP? How long did it take to transfoer a 500mb filew from the side USB port? How hard was it to connect to the WLAN and how was playback through the WLAN?
Next time try plugging the thing in.
