Chrysler’s Sale to Fiat: US Supreme Court asked to block deal

On Friday we reported about General Motors Chapter 11 bankruptcy and how Chrysler were back in court. This was due to a pensions fund appealing, because they were not happy with the sale of its assets.
Today we have some updated news on Chrysler’s sale to Fiat. The BBC is reporting that the US Supreme Court has been asked to block the deal.
Papers were filed at the court on Sunday by three Indiana construction and state pension funds. They have asked for time to pursue an appeal and as such want the Chrysler sale to Fiat halted.
