
Xbox 360 Lifecycle: Microsoft’s Shane Kim talks 2015

The corporate VP in charge of strategy and business for Interactive Entertainment was speaking about the future of the Xbox 360 and also shared some comments on Project Natal.
As reported from GI.Biz, Kim revealed that the company were working on a ’10-year lifecycle’ for the Xbox 360, intending to follow similar console lifecycles as Sony. He also revealed that they intend to fit Project Natal somewhere midcycle.
“We firmly believe that the Xbox 360 has a life cycle through 2015 (ten years after the launch),” he said. “Project Natal is a great innovation. It will work with every Xbox 360 sold.
