While at the electronic-display exhibition, which is just a continuation of CES. There were two things of importance, the first was how the show was scaled down by 35 percent, and the other was the LG’s 11.5-inch flexible e-paper.
LG Display are often at the forefront of technology, and this is proven with the world’s first 11.5-inch flexible e-paper, making it ideal for electronic books, the touchscreen features are thought to be very responsive.
According to the Korea Times, this year at the display show it is all about the e-book and it is thought that more than one million will be sold this year. The show also needed a 3D offering, and that was left to fellow Korean company Samsung to showcase its LCD technology optimized for 3-D TVs. The new device was a 240-Hz full high-definition 55-inch LCD display, and it certainly turned a few heads.
We are not certain when either of these products will be released, but they are still a long time off.
