WWDC 2009: New iPhone Expectations
By: Peter Chubb | June 4, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith just under one week to go until WWDC 2009, the one thing on our minds is the new iPhone expectation. The Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 8 and runs until June 12, let us hope that Apple will put us out of our misery and announce a new iPhone on the first day.
Phones Review has been looking more closely at what we know so far about the rumored iPhone, and what kind of technology we can expect to see. We know that the iPhone is definitely coming, and that Apple plan a new 4GB entry-level version, ideal for those on a tight budget but have always wanted to own an iPhone.
Let us go over a few of the rumored specs on the new 2009 Apple iPhone, the smartphones looks to be getting a 3.2-megapixel camera, the metal bezel has gone and the rear cover has been replaced with a slightly rubberized matte black one. The new iPhone 3.0 OS will also help to improve things, such as SMS forwarding, MMS support and a digital compass and push notifications.
We have just a few more days to get out of the way, and just maybe Apple will put an end to these rumors and offer us this new handset.
